CONSULTANCY SERVICES

EcoMatix has a Core Team of Highly Qualified and Experienced Consultants who cover a wide swathe of services required by Organizations, especially in this era of Globalization and Instant Communication.

Each of our Consultants are in a specialized sector, which allows us to give the best practical and cost effective solutions according to the Clients’ requirements.

We are also, through our extensive business networks, able to call upon outside Consultants as an added value to our services, thereby giving the best possible deliverables to our Clients.

The areas we cover includes, but is not limited to:

Strategy Consulting – Long, Mediumand Short Term Strategic Planning and Implementation.

Strategy consulting focuses on supporting private sector clients with the development of corporate, organisational or functional strategies and helping with economic policy.

This includes the formulation of enterprise-wide and business unit strategies and goals to support, among others, the design of vision and mission statements, the development of strategic plans and the setup of implementation roadmaps (which outline activities and resources required to implement the plans).

Such strategic advisory projects include the assessment of strategic options, supporting business planning processes and the development of growth agendas such as market entry strategies (when companies want to enter new regions or launch new products).
We help our clients by supporting them with strategic decision making, which includes the development of strategy and, to an extent, also the execution of strategic plans. As the responsibility for strategic decision making falls under the mandate of CxO’s and (senior) management, we work in tandem with executives and high-ranked managers. By doing so, we can help companies with the definition of their vision, mission and strategy, support them with market entry into a new market or with a shift towards a new business model.
At the same time, the work of strategy consultants can cover all major functional strategies, spanning strategic work across the full value chain.

Management and Financial Consulting – Financial Accounting & Reporting, Internal Audit, Forensic Accounting, New Business Set-ups, Due Diligence, Company Liquidations.

Our services to our Clients under this category involves advisory and/or implementation services to the (senior) management of organisations with the aim of improving the effectiveness of their business strategy, organisational performance and operational processes. Due to the great diversity in disciplines required, we are able to provide a broad range of services to our Clients covering the whole organization.

Some of our Clients’ requirements could be to develop a new strategic plan to, for instance, realise more growth, or commissioned to advise on innovation or cost reduction strategies. Implementing the proposed solutions and the execution side will also be part of these assignments, which can vary from improving the efficiency of business processes, the implementation of new IT systems, outsourcing of non-core tasks or optimising the supply chain. We give our support and remain involved until change transitions are complete and new ways of working have become part of the business operations.
Our financial consulting segment delivers consulting services that build on a strong financial analytical fundament. We span a wide variety of topics, such as transaction services, risk management, tax advisory, real estate advisory, compliance and litigation services to name a few, however, financial and accounting skills always stand at the heart of the services delivered.
The main areas we cover are less related from a functional perspective – the grouping is based on the dependency on financial skills and competences, in many cases combined with analytical rigour. Therefore our services can, to a large extent, be seen as separate areas: a corporate finance or M&A consultant, for example, performs substantially different activities than a risk expert, while a forensics engagement entails complete different activities compared to property valuation project.
In addition, Financial Consulting overlaps with other consulting segments and even non-consulting services. For instance, corporate finance and M&A services are also offered by strategy consultants and investment bankers, while litigation & forensic services also are part of the service portfolio of (specialised) law firms. Typically, the financial side of compensation & benefits – part of the HR consulting segment – also falls within the scope of this consulting area, in particular pensions and healthcare consulting.

Operations Consulting – Developing and Implementation of Systems, Processes, & Procedures from initiation to completion

Operations consulting, also referred to as operations management, is our advising and/or implementation services that improve a company’s internal operations and performance in the value chain, creating more effective client operations by advising on and supporting with the implementation of changes to target operating model, functional business processes, management systems, culture and other elements part of the value chain.

Our services include developing and implementing target operating / service delivery models, executing cost reduction programmes and optimising business processes. In addition, it includes designing and implementing business transformations in both primary and secondary functions. Examples include boosting the ‘Customer Experience’ (Sales, Marketing), improving the efficiency of logistics (Supply Chain), redesigning the manner raw materials are sourced (Procurement) and other front-office and back-office initiatives.

HR Consulting – Acting as outside Consultants to Organizations to review their HR Procedures and advising on best practices in the areas of Recruitment, Orientation, Professional Development, Employee Retention & Succession and Industrial Relations.

Human resource (HR) consulting arm, spans over the advising and implementing activities related to the management of an organisation’s human capital and the HR function. Our services range from overarching work on human capital strategy to the design and deployment of a compensation & benefits framework down to the transformation of the HR function.

Our scope spans over a wide area. Firstly, we give support to HR directors and managers of client organisations with improving the performance of the HR function – examples include implementing a HR business partner delivery model, redesigning HR processes or implementing a HRIS system. Secondly, we give support for broader human capital issues. This can range from providing HR support on M&A programmes to managing a cultural transformation or developing a new talent management strategy for critical business functions. Lastly, we are involved in large transformations to ensure that the necessary people and human capital expertise is on board, complementing the traditional ‘hard’ functional skills that already are part of the project. In this case, the client is often an internal consulting department that leads the delivery of the engagement. For example: a Finance Transformation programme at a client will be led by the Finance service line, which subsequently will call upon human capital consultants to lead areas such as leadership alignment, change management, learning and communication.

IT Consulting – Review and Assess ERP and SAP Systems, Advising on the Organization’s computerization, Implementation of IT Systems including Firewalls and Ethical Hacking

Our IT consulting arm includes services aimed at helping clients on how they can utilise information technology (IT) and digital to optimally achieve their business goals. We are involved in both advising and services, but excluding transactional IT activities.

Our consultants support our Clients using information technology to meet business objectives or overcome problems. The type of work can range from strategic (such as developing a new IT strategy or IT cybersecurity approach) to tactical (such as the implementation of an ERP system or the selection of an IT system) to highly operational (such as the development of a mobile application).

Corporate Funding and Investments Consulting, including Mergers & Acquisitions – Advising on Corporate Buy-outs and arranging for the funding through 3rd parties or Banks and Financial Institutions

Every year, thousands of companies worldwide, from large to small, are acquired by competitors or decide to merge with other organizations. Reasons behind the joining of forces can span from offensive strategies, such as bolstering growth potential or deepening expertise in a sector, to defensive tactics, including goals as consolidating the corporation’s market share or gaining added financial means to safeguard financial stability.

Organizations also look at various funding arrangements for expansion into new products or new market areas. Furthermore, the funding could also be for the Organization’s overall, long term expansion plans. We assist these Clients for the sourcing through Banks and Financial Institutions and continue to support them all the way, starting from the Financier’s initial processes to the final release of the funding.
